The Annual Appeal

Charter School is an independent non-profit organization founded on the principles of collaborative teaching and learning. Our mission is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment, high academic standards and meaningful character development. We surround our students with exemplary teachers and role models who inspire and challenge them. And we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that includes visual and performing art, outdoor education and our renowned garden program.

Our annual state revenue does not cover the full expense of a Charter education, nor does it provide the substantial funds needed to ensure the highest quality opportunities and resources for our students, teachers and programs. The Annual Appeal is the most important source of fundraising for the school - every year we ask all members of our school community make a gift at a level that is meaningful to them. Above all, we strive for 100% participation. ​

Every year, the Annual Appeal allows us to:

• Provide art and music programs
• Support outdoor education trips
• Maintain our beautiful campus and facilities
• Tend our garden
• Fund chromebooks and technology upgrades
• Provide equipment and resources for Physical Education
• Enable professional development for teachers
• Provide instructional aides
• Make Charter an amazing place to learn
