Thanks to the vision and dedication of our families, teachers and community partners over twenty years, Santa Ynez Valley Charter School has grown to be a thriving independent school of choice. All that our students enjoy today is made possible by the generosity of parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, friends, faculty and staff who believe an investment in our school is a worthy commitment.
Each year, about 10% of the operating budget comes from financial donations from members of our community. Our two main fundraisers are the Annual Appeal in the first part of the school year, and the Auction Gala event which takes place in spring. We also have an active PTSO who raise money through events such as Jog-A-Thon. Your support is critical in making the Charter experience distinctive for every child.
